What the little man don't know...

So, our bank went the way of .25 cent gas and left us in the arms of us bank. Those guys rolled into town with all new signs and a bad attitude. They were very well compensated for their efforts and in fact were guaranteed, by our elected talking heads, not lose money on the deal. Wow. So there we were, smelling the stench of our rotting bank that was unable to discount our loans...because...well...you know the saying....if you owe the bank 2 mil and things turn south you have a problem and if you owe the bank 2 bil and things turn south the bank has a problem. Things had not gone south for us but we did at least have to ask about getting our loans discounted...all the cool kids were doing it...and they certainly were not going to just offer it up...

So, in walks us bank, and within one month had decided to auction off our loans, among others. The rules stated that they were not obligated to keep any loans that they themselves had not originated, and besides, WE THE PEOPLE were making them whole. Us bank was also not interested in talking to us about selling our loans to us. Make sense? So what did they do with our loans? They auctioned them off in a super secret handshake type of affair for......wait....wait........three hundred thousand dollars! Dayum, hectfire, I woulda made arrangements to pay that (or even more!)

IT JUST DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!

This is only half the story. The math part is really good. Buy for 300k. Now what. Do we tell the folks we own them and that the payments are going to this new address now? Check. Do we offer to sell the loans again maybe back to those nice folks? Check.

We are now trying to buy our loans from these insiders for three times what they paid. Hopefully...if we can find some money to borrow....again...Don't get me wrong, we are saving, or not paying, over one million dollars. The IRS says there is no taxable event so we save, or don't pay, even more. It is surely the only hope & change we have even come close to...and the thought of these creepy insiders owning what was once ours, in a game that without us could not have taken place but that we were not allowed top play in. I take that back. We did get to play. One of the noobs in the game, who did not understand the rule against contacting us before the game was over, bid $750,000.00 on our behalf. Folks, this is not an EBAY auction, and the trouble is, I don't know where or how to open a complaint! As my attorney once told me, "Ragwriter, you can't make that shit up!"

All of this is on the back of the little man, and he don't even know it. There are billions and billions (channeling Carl Sagan here) being sent the wrong direction, and the little man only maybe understands a teeny tiny part.
